Hello DA. If you're reading this, you are most likely on my profile. So I might as well introduce myself. My name is Martin, but I go under the name MartinCrossbow. I don't have a lot of nicknames, but the one I have is fine with me. I am crazy about two things - photography and writing. The first is a project without end. So is the latter, though I have hust finished my character, Maxim Green. More might just come along underway, but from now on I'll focus on contests like W4STE and OC. My good friend ~jens5461 has promised me a sprite, so that will come along at one point.
One of the less important things for me is to translate songs. I used to translate a lot, but nowadays, I'd rather write fiction and poetry than translations. Though this is a sideproject for me, that I hope to put some effort into along the way.
School fills up a lot of my time, and to an increasing degree, so the long afternoons of writing are over. That doesn't mean that I won't write, though - don't panic!
A bit about my writing style - simple brutality. No-one disturbs while I write! Not the dog, not my parents, not even the Pope!
When I photograph, it's quite different, though. I like to talk to people, meet new kindred spirits. It is sort of a social experience for me.
I'd like to explain the title. ~jens5461 recently posted a journal called "I'll be your sister". That's why
I urge you to check out the linked MySpace profile. I use it to host a collection of my photos - and to meet new people, though the latter purpose is rather irrelevant to you, dear reader.
